Those students interested in playing American Jazz music should audition for the CHS Jazz Band.
The CHS Jazz Band will meet from 2pm – 4pm in the CHS Band room Tuesdays beginning in January – Spring Break in March. The Jazz Band will take a short break during the preparation and performance of the CHS Musical in March and resume practice in Late April.
The CHS Jazz Band will perform for the CHS May Concert and various school related functions.
Mandates:
Attend the Tuesday 2pm – 4pm Practices
Prepare/Perform your music for rehearsal and concerts.
Instrumentation includes:
Alto , Tenor, Bari Sax, Trumpet, Trombone/Baritone, Flute, Clarinet, Mellophone, Piano, Electric Bass, Electric Guitar, Drum set, auxiliary percussion
